This bouldering guide book is the most up-to-date and presents 22 of the most beautiful and diverse bouldering areas in Southtyrol. It was created in collaboration with the Alpenverein Südtirol (AVS), our local Alpine Club. The sportclimbing and bouldering area «Steinerne Stadt' counts to the most historic spots in Southtyrol and in the Dolomites. Since centuries climbers train on the myriad blocks at the bottom of the astonishing Langkofel. 'Spiluck' in Varna, Bressanone, is one of the newer boulder and also sportclimbing areas. The biggest and also most known are is probably Algund (Lagundo), next to Merano.The boulders are spread all over the forest and divided into 15 different areas. Also in the other valleys of Southtyrol you find great destinations, e.g. Pojen in Pustertal or Bergkristll in Passeiertal. In Southtyrol you can boulder with best conditions in summer as well as in winter. The bouldering guide book by Vertical-Life and AVS is available in German and in Italian.
